A very depleted Shipston U15 squad came through a tough game against a strong Earlsdon side to win 39-24.
Due to several injuries players had to move around in position but all had a great time trying out new roles. The usual No. 8 Ed Turner had a great game at No 10 alongside usual prop Freddie Symons who played No 12. Jack Tyler moved to No 8 where he controlled the back of the scrum and flanker Zac Bunker had a sterling game as full back with one clearance from the 22 being collected by their full back in the Earlsdon in-goal area.
Shipston went 7-0 down early on as the players adapted to their new roles but they soon got to grips with the game with Chris Barker-Harland going over by the corner flag. Chris was to add 3 more tries during the game and other scores came from Marcus Creagh (2) and a wonderful run past 5 players by Symons for a score near the posts.
The game was close until the final 20 when Shipston pulled away but Earlsdon were very deserving of the 3 further tries they scored.
