Shipston on Stour RUFC is a friendly Rugby Union club based in the small market town of Shipston on Stour. Our first team currently play level 8 rugby in the Midlands 3 West (South) League after the structure was rearranged at the beginning of the 2009 season. Meanwhile the 2nd and 3rd teams also play competitive rugby in South Warwickshire Leagues 2 & 3 respectively. The club is very proud of our ability to regularly turn out complete 4th and Veterans teams. Especially as these teams continue to do well against much older and larger clubs. We are now in our eleventh season of Minis & Juniors rugby with over 230 kids running around the three pitches on a Sunday morning.
We have recently become one of the few clubs in the UK to hold the RFUs full Whole Club Seal of Approval .award. This shows our dedication to the game and our links to the community something for which we are very proud of.
