U15s turn on the class for victory against Banbury.

On a very cold and windy morning at Mayo Road the u15s hosted a committed Banbury Team.

The match started with a fine flowing move, almost from the kick off, which went through many hands to arrive with Sam Creagh who duly scored the try, despite a valiant try scoring effort from his opposite number.

The first half was the most impressive performance of our season so far - aggressive and fast breakdown work from our pack saw Will Crawshaw with clean ball that was distributed nicely to Isaac Rowles, which allowed our midfield and back three to express themselves with ball in hand.

The first half was finished off with a piece of individual magic from Isaac Rowles, who chipped and gathered against a rushing defence, to score from the 10 metre line.

Equally as impressive was the quick pick and go from the base on the ruck by Will Jackson who cantered through, again from close to the 10 metre line.

The second half was a closer affair which saw Banbury switching tactics and start punching through the middle - and with some success. But our lads matched them physically, and towards the end of the game James Atkins scored a peach of a try started way in our half from a Lineout throw to the back from Frederick Venables, which went through a couple of phases before it was spread along the backline and finished with a one hand off load from Sam C.

This was a great Team performance with much to be pleased about. The boys are developing very nicely.
