An update from Alasdair Elliot

A message to all members from Alasdair Elliot:

I saw Dr Graham Williams yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

For those who are newish to the Club, Graham played for the Club in the early days, was President for 25 years, and a fine job he did. He was also Senior Partner at the Shipston Medical Centre for a number of years. Well known throughout the town, he remains a local character.

Recently Graham has not been blessed with good health and after several bouts of chemotherapy his health has not improved greatly. He has spent the last two weeks in the QEH in Birmingham and was allowed home on Thursday.

We sat together for the best part of an hour and we discussed all manner or things. Graham still has a soft spot for the Club and was interested to know how things were going. I have to say that he was fairly upbeat and knowing he has been in hospital for a couple of weeks looked far better than I anticipated I know you will all join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.
