Colin Black - RIP

2 years ago By Nicholas Underwood

Former Treasurer and club friend dies suddenly

I am sad to report the sudden death of Colin Black.

Although he had been unwell for some time complications arose and Colin died very suddenly yesterday morning (22nd April).

Colin became Treasurer for the Club for two years and made the job his own. It was during this time that he was diagnosed with cancer and decided to retire from the position to give more time to his family. It was typical of the man he was, to take on the responsibility of the position although he had little experience of the Club. His introduction to the Club came initially from his daughter Robyn who took on the physio duties and continued to support the Club for some 4 years. Many of the more recent players and Club members will remember both well.

We send our deepest sympathies to his family.
