Important message from Coaches

What an evening!
Shipston Under 11’s lit up the dark with a stunning display of running Rugby and both team units wowed the crowd in their own way.
Great awareness at the breakdown; clever scavenging and presentation led to quick ball, used quickly and with vision. Boys – you had to enjoy this!
In particular the re-organisation at breakdowns and line-speed were spot-on.
Your shoulders must be glowing sore but guess what – so are ours!
Never seen so many slaps on the shoulder between us Coaches. (We only do this when we see great Rugby!)

Seriously guys, we are very proud of your progress this season, and from where we are standing – this is starting to look like excellent, fun and winning Rugby. Well done to all.
Players of the Week:
Mitchell for classic ‘Mitchell’ tackles leading to major openings and overall support play
Toby for scanning the breakdowns and feeding good ball getting the runners away

Special mention: Harvey’s clear out late on. OMGoodness!
Well done guys –

Your Coaches
