After a time in hospital Pete returned home on Friday. He saw Vanessa, John, Robbie and Toby on Saturday evening and I understand he had a glass of sherry and was in good form. Over the last few days his illness took a turn and he died during today (Thursday).

Peter followed Shipston Rugby and was a great supporter. Jane and Pete were often on the touchline and supported our Club functions. He particularly enjoyed watching his grandchildren on Sunday mornings and following Robbie and his progress through the Gloucester ranks.

He will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with Jane and his family.
