A great first fixture at Droitwich for U15s

Mother's Day sees the u15s travel to Droitwich for the first game between the two teams - Our boys dominated the game and brought the win home with a 55-10 win.

The game started with what might be the biggest tackle of the season from Rowlesy, that brought to an early end to the attackers game after no more than 5 minutes. That was followed by a series of tries throughout the first and second half from Sam Creagh, James Atkins, Isaac Rowles, Ollie Cox, Alex Aplin, Charlie Hutchings, and one from Leon Daniels for the opposition.

Our open play was exceptional today - great passing, players making good decisions, lovely off loads and great balanced running. Let us not forget that this running rugby can only be played by our forward 8 putting in the hard yards to capture ball, retain it and work hard to get to the next breakdown to do the same over again.

Working on retaining possession in the initial contact and being more aggressive at ruck time remain elements we must improve.

Lots to be pleased with after this performance, but my highlight today, bearing in mind my comment about good decision making earlier, was Coxy's score. It was exactly the right time to snipe, and great skill for the dummy - nice one.

We move on and look to improve again.
